Marco Romanelli

Profile

Law graduate with honors (magna cum laude) from the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan, Marco Romanelli joined LCG in 2008. He began his professional career specializing in corporate and white-collar criminal law at a leading boutique criminal law firm in Milan. 
Admitted to practice before the Italian Supreme Court (Corte di Cassazione), he represents and defends national and foreign companies in the primary areas of business and corporate criminal law, while advising corporate officers, directors, and executives on corporate governance matters. Furthermore, he provides expert counsel on the implementation and updating of Organization, Management, and Control Models under Legislative Decree No. 231/2001. He serves as Chairman or member of Supervisory Bodies (Organismi di Vigilanza) for several companies, including listed entities. In this capacity, he collaborates closely with internal corporate functions, particularly Internal Audit and Compliance, to define, implement, and audit internal control systems and procedures. 
He is also a frequent lecturer and instructor for professional training courses organized by the Italian Association of Internal Auditors (AIIA) and the Association of Members of 231 Supervisory Bodies (AOdV231).
