Giuseppe M. Cannella, founding partner of the Firm, is admitted to practice before the Italian Supreme Court.
A former honorary magistrate, he is a highly versatile attorney with cross-disciplinary expertise, uniquely skilled in analyzing both criminal and civil law matters.
His practice primarily focuses on liability issues across various sectors, providing expert litigation advocacy and strategic counsel to resolve highly complex legal disputes.
He has developed extensive experience in the healthcare sector, regularly advising clients on all legal, regulatory, and compliance aspects of the industry, as well as on bioethical issues.
An expert in privacy, data protection, and new technology law, he seamlessly integrates these specializations with his corporate criminal law expertise. He serves as Data Protection Officer (DPO) for several public and private companies.
Furthermore, he handles corporate criminal defense matters and serves as a member of various Supervisory Bodies established under Legislative Decree No. 231/2001.
In addition to his professional practice, he is a researcher at the DIPAB Observatory of the University of Milano-Bicocca. He frequently delivers specialized training in his fields of expertise, serves on scientific committees, and is the author of numerous legal publications, academic articles, and commentaries.
