The firm complies in all its offices with the rules and guidelines of the respective municipalities on waste collection and disposal, and also adopts measures aimed at reducing the use of consumable materials, favouring reusable ones or, where this is not possible, those that are easily recyclable.

Waste produced during daily activities is therefore sorted into:

•    Paper
•    Plastics and metals
•    Organic waste
•    Residual waste
•    Glass
•    Spent batteries
•    WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment)

The firm recommends correct disposal through appropriate signage and periodic messages to all collaborators, reminding them of the importance of attention to shared spaces and the correct management of waste materials.

Waste sorting rests on two equally important aspects: proper user awareness and ease of execution. Large packages or objects are deposited in the appropriate spaces and the cleaning company takes them to the building's designated collection areas.

In the offices, dedicated containers for paper, plastics and metals, residual waste and organic waste are available. In addition to shared spaces, individual workstations have recently been equipped with multi-compartment bins allowing easy separation of the various waste streams.

Water dispensers are available at various points throughout the firm, which can be used with glass cups; in Milan and Rome, dispensers have been installed that provide still and sparkling water at different temperatures, effectively eliminating the need to purchase bottled water and drastically reducing plastic waste.

Specific policies have been adopted for the disposal of electrical and electronic waste (WEEE).

When using external suppliers, the firm evaluates their procedures, giving preference to suppliers that guarantee the use of recyclable materials and their correct disposal.
