The firm is aware that the disposal of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) must follow a specific procedure to ensure the safe and eco-sustainable treatment of hi-tech waste from faulty or obsolete devices.

Given that such materials may contain substances harmful to both health and the environment, correct disposal is necessary to significantly reduce environmental impact and promote recycling wherever possible.

In order to correctly dispose of said waste, and in full awareness of the above, the firm scrupulously complies with the rules and guidelines of the respective municipalities where each office is located.

The firm, having provided all necessary disposal instructions to professionals and administrative staff, has also entered into contracts and agreements with specialised waste disposal and recovery operators.

In particular, with regard to toner cartridges:

LCG participates in the Recycling collection and disposal programme run by RICOH ITALIA, the printer supplier. In all offices, spent toner cartridges are collected in a dedicated box ("Ecobox"); the collection and disposal procedure is then activated periodically through an online booking system. Appointed personnel then collect the materials on the agreed date; in this way, approximately 99% of the materials from spent toner cartridges are recycled.

Further information is available on the RICOH website.

To ensure the correctness and traceability of all the above activity, the firm retains every individual delivery note in which the appointed companies have recorded the relevant consignment.
